About Dr. Rob Satriano

Transforming physical therapy treatments

During my time at University of Maryland School of Medicine DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) program, I began researching the myofascial system and its profound transformational influence over movement and function. Restrictions in the fascial system are of considerable importance in relieving both physical and emotional pain.

I treat patients across the lifespan of various orthopedic, neurologic, chronic pain, and anxiety disorders in Baltimore, Maryland as well as training physical therapists on dry needling and trigger point therapy techniques and treatments.

I’ve treated professional athletes, members of the United States Special Forces and Black Ops, and performing artists at the Kennedy Center and Hippodrome.

Bring Your Cell Phone to Each Treatment Session

I believe in providing personalized physical therapy treatments to my clients, going beyond the conventional practice of handing out printed exercise sheets.

Instead, I take a more innovative approach by recording videos of my patients performing specific movements using their own mobile phones so that they can see they movements they need to practice at home with audio instructions to reinforce proper movements.

This way, my patients have access to their own video clips of themselves they can use at home as a guide to accelerate your progress and recovery.

What makes my physical therapy practice unique?

The heart of healing lies in our ability to listen, see and perceive, and is much more than the application of one particular technique or philosophy. My patients describe me as a kind, loyal, creative, dedicated and “out of the box “ healer. I am a teacher whose passion for helping others is palpable.
